What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program built on constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity. So what does this mean?


Basically, you will very rarely repeat the same workout. When WOD's are repeated, they are benchmark workouts and are there to measure your progress.


These can also be used to measure your level of performance against other athletes internationally! All the movements that we do are natural; they are movements that you will find in everyday life. Every workout you will work at an intensity that your fitness level will allow.

Put simply, CrossFit is a training system that prepares you for whatever life can throw at you. Workouts are short & intense, and incorporate elements of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, rowing, running, bodyweight exercises and circuit training.


The best thing about CrossFit is that anyone can do it, ANYONE!!!


All our classes are conducted in a group environment. Unlike traditional gyms where you will be given a program and left on your own to repeat the same thing over and over again and somehow come up with your own results.

We will give you instruction on correct movement every class and give you the best possible chance to go above and beyond your fitness goals. We do conduct technical movements and we will make sure you have the basics before you progress on to the advanced movements.


Intensity is the key to our training. We always train at the maximum intensity that each person can safely achieve. In saying this all of our workouts are scalable to each individual and their current fitness level. We will scale your workouts by load, reps, distance or time.


The end goal for us is to make sure you walk out better than when you walked in each and every time you train. There is no doubt the training is hard, but it is amazing how quick you will progress if you are willing to put in the work. If you turn up ready to train you will be in the best shape of your life in no time.
